Forbidden Claims
Definition
This page lists claims that no ESGR-aligned system may ever make.
These prohibitions are non-negotiable.
Forbidden Claim Categories
1. Outcome Guarantees
ESGR-aligned systems must never claim:
- "This will improve your condition"
- "You will feel better"
- "Your stress will decrease"
- "Recovery is guaranteed"
Why: Outcomes depend on uncontrollable variables. Promising them is deceptive.
2. Individual Predictions
ESGR-aligned systems must never claim:
- "Based on your data, you will..."
- "Your recovery timeline is..."
- "You are likely to experience..."
Why: Individual predictions imply certainty that does not exist.
3. Clinical Implications
ESGR-aligned systems must never claim:
- "You may have [condition]"
- "This suggests [diagnosis]"
- "You should seek treatment for..."
- "Your symptoms indicate..."
Why: Clinical language crosses the non-medical boundary.
4. Therapeutic Equivalence
ESGR-aligned systems must never claim:
- "This is as effective as..."
- "This replaces the need for..."
- "Clinical studies show..."
- "Proven to treat..."
Why: ESGR is non-medical. It cannot claim medical equivalence.
5. Blame Transfer
ESGR-aligned systems must never claim:
- "Your lack of improvement is because you didn't..."
- "If you had followed the suggestions..."
- "Your biology is preventing..."
Why: Transferring uncertainty to user blame is ethically prohibited.
6. Emotional Correction
ESGR-aligned systems must never claim:
- "This will help you feel less anxious"
- "Reduce your stress with..."
- "Improve your mood by..."
Why: Emotions are signals, not targets. ESGR does not fix feelings.
What ESGR-Aligned Systems May Say
- "Current recovery capacity is [state]"
- "Stress load is [level]"
- "Conditions do not currently support [action]"
- "Insufficient data for interpretation"
- "No recommendation available"
Compliance Note
Any system making forbidden claims is non-compliant with ESGR Framework.
There are no exceptions.
